DIRTY LITTLE SECRET MOUNTAIN BIKE RACE NAMED 2006 RACE OF THE YEAR!

For the second straight year, racers in the Midwest Fat Tire Series have voted the Dirty Little Secret their favorite race of the year!  Among 14 races in the season-long series spanning from March to October, participants liked the October 8th race at Fancy Creek State Park the best.  Racers cited several factors for giving the Dirty Little Secret the nod for Race Of The Year.  The trail with it's unique features and the superb condition of the course on race day was the reason most often heard.  Other factors included the free meal of BBQ brisket and smoked ribs, the overall organization of the event, the festive atmosphere which included free camping for all racers and supporters the night before, and the awards ceremony complete with podium girls.  And, of course, everyone loves the Team Crackanoon bus and it's amenities!

The 2007 Dirty Little Secret will be held on October 7th at Fancy Creek State Park and it will be even bigger and better.  A giant "Thank You" goes out to the amazing crew of volunteers for their invaluable support in making this event a most memorable one.  I hope to see you all again in October!
